Heat-friendly / Heat-resistant wigs are made from Synthetic Fibers that are specially developed to resist damage from excessive heat sources.

These specialised fibers allow heat to be used to change the style that will remain in until heat is applied again. When washed the style will remain intact. Ultimately this is a synthetic fibre so it can only withstand so much heat before it starts to resist change.

An excellent option if you are looking for a short-term wig

Depending on lifestyle, frequency of wear, and care maintenance, the Heat Friendly / Resistant wig typically lasts between 6 - 12 months.

Over time, more often than not, the synthetic fiber will develop static frizz around the perimeter of the wig. It is caused when the hair fibers constantly rub against clothing or anything that rubs against the fiber at the back of your neck. It is inevitable, however, if you wear a silk scarf between the fiber of the wig and your clothing this will prolong the friction frizz. This will happen sooner the longer the wig hair is.

Depending on the severity of the friction frizz, we are able to remove most or all of the frizz.
